Did you know our principal loves playing chess? Last Sunday, principle JiaoYu joined The Beijing Chess Lovers Club for a few rounds of chess and good company.

Jiao Yu was lucky enough to meet Hou Yifan (wearing pink), the youngest female world champion.

About Hou Yifan:

  • 2008 received Grand Master title (age 15)
  • 2010 became the youngest female World Champion
  • 2011 won the World Championship again
  • 2012 won gold at the 40th Chess Olympiad
